There are very important moments before us, all parents and supporters must unite and gather on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 11.30 in front of the National Assembly!
Invite friends, acquaintances, relatives, and other supporters. It is important that we gather in as many as possible.
- WHY?
The government and deputies wants to tighten the conditions of non-state schools in Slovenia by amending the Law on Organization and Financing of Education (ZOFVI-L).
The bill does not eliminate injustices, it brings additional stratification and prevents access to the non-state school network in Slovenia to the most vulnerable groups.
Minister for the education Mr Pikalo does not respect the Constitutional order of the State and does not want to involve the public in the changes of the school system!
United parents will make this clear on the protest, respectfully with big NO! - WHERE AND WHERE?
We will gather on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at 11.30 in front of the National Assembly, when the vote on amendments of the ZOFVI-L will take place.
With our presence in front of parliament, we will call on the parliamentarians to overcome the ideological differences when voting. Instead of an ideological war, politicians should show enough wisdom not to create additional inequalities among citizens, and to limit the constitutionally protected rights of children and parents.
At the same time, we will call on the Minister to resign from the existing bill and prepare the new proposal in a comprehensive manner, taking into account all children in the same way, and involve all interested public in preparation.
Now we have the opportunity to be heard by Slovenian government and to fight for the rights of all children in Slovenia!
